Gabriel joined the AMM Lab as a Ph.D. student in Fall 2023. He received his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hohai University. His research interests include additive manufacturing, material science and lightweight design. He is currently working on Additive Manufacturing of TPMS structures for crashworthiness application in Battery.

Elijah Pointer is a second year Mechanical Engineering student at George Mason University. His current undergraduate research focuses on the mechanical properties of FDM printed PEEK/HA composites. This entails creating the PEEK/HA filament, 3D printing various bone scaffold designs utilizing the filament, and testing the scaffolds’ mechanical capabilities.
In his free time, he enjoys drawing, animation, and jogging.
